umurmur for OpenBSD update

I got a bit sidetracked and didn't get back to the umurmur port until after the ports tree was locked, then I forgot about it again while waiting for the tree to unlock...sigh. Life really is full of curveballs.

I got the man pages written and now I have a buildable/installable/runnable port of umurmur for OpenBSD (and the tree is unlocked! Yay).

Depend on wmctrl.

Are you tired of winding up with multiple instances of a program of which you don't really need multiple instances? Your problems are over! Now you can just press the hot-keys or whatever shortcuts you have, without ever worrying about earlier instances. No more sore joints for having to close...

dos programming

This is about scheduling download on remote vista machine via telnet.

I wanted to give link , file name & time as input to script which will start background process executing batch file ( created by script ) on schedule.

After an hour I came out with
<dir> bat
<dir> log
<dir> done

First Command to Run After Installing Ubuntu

Ubuntu is a great operating system. It fast, secured and easy to use when compared to most of other operating Systems. But Ubuntu is not complete without some additional packages. One command make Ubuntu useful for everyday use.
To get started, press Ctrl Alt T on your keyboard to open Terminal.
When Terminal opens, type the command below and press Enter to install.
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
