NEWS 190228 about DebEX Gnome – a Refracta efi Build
I have made a new extra version of DebEX, which I call DebEX Gnome Live DVD. It’s a pure Debian system using the testing (buster) and unstable (sid) repositories. Gnome 3.30 (latest) is used as Desktop environment. I have removed the Mate Desktop, since Gnome now can be used on all kind of computers. Also when running DebEX in VirtualBox and VMware. No need for Nvidia’s proprietary graphics drivers when running this new version of DebEX....

New Years Data to DB - The Idea

Posted 02-28-2019 at 02:33 AM by astrogeek

The initial efforts of all participants in the newyears thread, and comparison and validation of the results produced by the three different approaches to the problem, have led us to agreement that we have indeed found a complete set of solutions. At least complete within the bounds of our combined ability to imagine and test generating expressions to this point!

Knowing what a complete solution set looks like, we have each shifted emphasis from the generating code, to a more critical...

Ginkgo USB-CAN Part 3

Posted 02-24-2019 at 09:03 PM by Indymaynard

So, this project seems like the slowest project in the world...

That's probably because it is. I'll get it figured out one day. At least there is some progress today.

My biggest goal was to get the CAN code that would turn on the stereo and amplifier. Luckily, someone had actually figured this part out already! In this video, the guy demonstrates that you can just send data with an ID of 0. Simple! So I tried to send a 1, using boolean or bit style logic to attempt...
