Words/Phrases that sound painfull.

Posted 10-13-2006 at 05:33 AM by RHLinuxGUY

First time blogging... ever... I wanna see how this goes with this title:

Words/Phrases that hurt.

Explaination: Words that when you hear it... you immediatly get a feeling(auto-suggestion?) of pain.(ambiguous)

I heard the following when I played SoF (Loki version of course!):

"Pig Sticker Combat Knife"

I got sick thinking of Pig Sticker. Knowing that pigs can be big, and impailing it with something big enough...

Did you all face a problem in choosing the suitable distro ?

Posted 10-11-2006 at 12:37 AM by amsunaakage

I was wondering...... and maybe i am right.

The most difficult thing in starting as a newbie in linux is to choose the suitable distro for yourself.

When i ask people in forums about anything considering linux i never find them agree on something like when i ask " which is best windows xp or windows 3.11"?

The whole world will agree that Windows xp is better than Windows 3.11 due to reasons not(opinions) but scientific reasons.

HELP NEEDED!! HERE CLICK MY POST!!

Posted 10-06-2006 at 06:10 AM by vangelis

Some people don't actually understand that everyone here uses their spare time and not actually paid. I have seen double posts around saying "HEY!!! nobody here knows nothing for this?Come on 19 reads people, DO something! Help me plix plox!"

What can you think of that person that is posting this and are you really going to give your time for him/her?

Maybe if someone wanted a 6hr call to repair support or 2hr response should make a contract with a company...

Some time you might find some applications are having only .rpm files but you want a .deb package for your debian,Ubuntu and other debian derived ditributions. If you can’t find .deb debian package in any of the debian, ubuntu repositories or elsewhere, you can use the alien package converter to install the .rpm file.
