First Entry (Hello)

Hi,
I'm qizzer here but many people may know me as benja22. I've been messing with Linux for several years now.
I try to answer a few questions on www.linuxquestions.org I also spend a lot of time (as benja22) in the #mandriva channels on both Freenode and Undernet IRC networks. I can also be found on #lfd (linuxfordummies) on Freenode. I also belong to a couple of community help mailing lists for Mandriva. I get about 30 emails a day from these and try to answer at least one or two questions a week on there.
I have a bot (information robot) that resides in #flootbnj on Freenode, but I prefer that people use /msg to talk with the bot rather than talking to it in channel. It has over 32,000 entries of mostly computer related information. It also has a few bar recipes and knows the capitals of every country and U.S. state.
Since I don't really expect to many people to actually read this blog, I will using it to keep track of the things I have done with my computers. I need a system such as this because I do so much stuff with my computers that I forget what I'm doing half the time.
If someone does decide to follow this blog I guess I should give some sort of idea of how I'm setup.
I have a room in my basement which I refer to as the computer room. It has four computers currently working in it. The computer I am writing this from is my 64 bit athlon running purely Mandriva Linux. Sitting just off my left elbow is my "testbox" It currently dual boots Mandriva and Win98. It hasn't been booted into Windows in months. Behind me sit two other computers. My wife, Patty's WinXP box and another win98 box for the kids. I use the testbox and the win98 box mostly to test networking stuff. I honestly don't really need to do half the networking things I do with them, but it allows me to learn and therefore to help others when possible.
So there is my introduction to the blog.
