Webcam help in later Linux distros

When installing a uvcvideo compliant webcam with a built-in mic (i.e. Logitech Webcam Pro 9000) in recent Linux distros, you may encounter an issue with pulseaudio and the built-in mic. If using the webcam with Skype, Skype will automatically select Pulseaudio for all Sound Options. A solution for OpenSuse 11.1 is to uninstall pulseaudio, rename config.xml in home/yourname/.skype/yourskypename/, then reboot your machine. Upon starting Skype, select Options, Sound, and set the mic to the usb designation...
