Florida visit slowly coming to an end.

Hi,
It has been nice in the land of the sun. Playing golf in the middle of Midwest winters is a big plus. My game has shown some improvement on the short grass here. Midwest grass is a lot easier to hit off of than the Bermuda that is cut short here in Florida.
With all my physical limits it has been a work in progress. Since I have in the past 5 spinal surgeries that do require me to use a modified single plane swing so a I can control the club head and speed. My handicap is dropping here but I wonder what it will be in Illinois once I continue my play there. The ball will settle in the fairway grass and ruff back in Illinois.
Balls in the ruff here sink into the gnarly Bermuda so you need to power out without flying the ball. Rye here is starting to die and that too make things difficult. Central Florida has been in a dry spell with little rain so supers must water and water is expensive here.
I re-injured my left shoulder and blade muscles so I have been using therapy to help strengthen those muscles. I should not be doing physical labor around the house/yard. Pulled muscles while working on things my wife wants done. I told her that I would be hiring some of this out after hurting myself.. This older body knows what it can do and it lets me know when I do stupid things like lifting more than my weight limit.
Vacation home always need some sort of maintenance, no different than my summer home.
My motto is; Have fun & enjoy!
So manual labor is not fun to me any longer.
That was the reason for selling the farm since I could not continue with such heavy manual labor even with powered tools to aid in tasks.
I have told my wife more than once that I did not purchase this vacation winter home to perform major labor so we need to hire out whenever we can.
