Sending Mails

Posted 07-11-2007 at 11:42 PM by nsalas

Hi,

I am trying to send a mail by either using mailx or sendmail. In HP-UX, I tried mailx -r newsenderaddress@test.com -s "Test Subject" recipient@test.com < mymail.txt and it worked, My question here is what is the equivalent option of mailx -r in Linux so that I can change the sender address?

Sendmail command on the otherhand, has the option to change the sender's address but does not have the SUBJECT and the recipient shows To:undisclosed-recipient....
