how to install *.sh file on CentOS?

Would anyone know, I am sure someone does, how to install *.sh file on CentOS?
I downloaded the netbeans 6.5 file but now I am not sure how to install it. Thanks, george

I think you should be able to run it from the command line?

$ sh install.sh

should run the installer.
