Fluxbox/Openbox - calendar in menu

MOVED: added this to the fluxbox wiki as "Calendar Menu" updates may be posted here or there.

Here is a nifty thing to include a calendar printout in your fluxbox menu. It currently coded in bash and is very crude. The print out only looks best when your menu is left justified and the text is mono spaced. An optional fix for this may be to convert spaces to underscore (not yet implemented).

create a directory ~/.fluxbox/cal and place the attached script in it.

initialize it once by running it as
~/.fluxbox/cal/ reset
Then add the newly created menu to your main menu
[submenu] (Calendar)
   # the name is different between version .1 and .2
   [include] (~/.fluxbox/cal/calendar-menu)
this script was designed to handle fluxbox's inability for dynamic menus and stores the menu as ~/.fluxbox/cal/cal in .1 and ~/.fluxbox/cal/calendar-menu in .2

I plan on expanding this to use a crude appointment system for adding annual events like birthdays. Unfortunately, because it is essentially a menu, you would see important dates as a menu off to the right for the current week.

Known Issues:
I can't find any, openbox may experience some. The speed issues of version 0.1 seem to be gone now that I added a separate file for storing the main calendar month and year.

Version 0.2
- Optimized Some functionality
- separated menu format from the rest of the code
- added theoretical support for openbox
- added dynamic menu support

Version 0.1
- Basic Calendar
- Tools menu option to: reset, change to previous month, change to next month
- Menu option to view previous month
- Menu option to view next month
