I'm trying to:

emerge dev-perl/Event

Step 1

>>> Emerging (1 of 1) dev-perl/Event-1.10
cc1: error: unrecognized option `-Wdeclaration-after-statement'
make: *** [Event.o] Error 1

Step 2

Now I tried to use CPAN to install the perl module lost:

perl -MCPAN -e shell
cpan> install event

But I got the same:
cc1: error: unrecognized option `-Wdeclaration-after-statement'
make: *** [Event.o] Error 1
/usr/bin/make -- NOT OK

Currently researching for the issue.
