Well if I had some?? I need a good help LINUX project for some one that is not a programer?
Lots of time just need a good idea.

Set up a HTPC man that will fill PLENTY of time! I've set up several XBMC on Ubuntu with a ubuntu server backend running VDR with mutiple tuner cards. Trust me, it will consume your life if your not careful and the end product is such a wow factor you wouldn't beleive it. It's the project that is never complete!
The other project I'm working on is a little server hosting a site giving me acces to vnc / ssh to all my pc's plus streaming etc to wherever I am including my iphone from an easy to use front end.
Both of these have made me learn some scripting a little python and many many other things that would have bored me if I didnt have a clear goal to learn.Posted 06-15-2010 at 10:51 PM by mhouston100
