A new version of Exton-Slack 14.0 is ready!

Posted 05-18-2013 at 12:55 AM by exton

Exton-Slack current is a new remaster of Slackware 14.0/current 64bit. KDE 4.10.3 (released 130507) is used as Desktop Environment. I have compiled the kernel 3.8.7 in the same way that Slackware’s kernel huge is compiled. This means that there are a lot of native support for modern hardware in “my” kernel 3.8.7-exton. Even more than what is available in Slackware’s original kernel huge. This is my third Slackware system for 64bit computers. Furthermore I have installed Grub2, which can be used as boot loader after a hard drive install.

Study the full package LIST.
