This morning before logging into Windows, at work, I decided to bite the bullet and finally disconnected the mouse. The last few days thanks to vim and vimperator* I've been trying not to use the mouse; but it's difficult because the act of reaching for the mouse is so completely automatic.

Did I miss the mouse?
Yeah, once... using TortoiseSVN. (i usually use the svn command line tool but was supporting someone with a dependency on graphical tools; on a side note there is a...

"It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum... and I'm all outta gum." - Duke Nukem (but I think he stole if from the bad ass in They Live)

Yeah Duke Nukem 3D on Linux... groovy!!

Get yourself a copy of DosBox. I yum'd it from the repo but a quick google and you will reap your reward. Install what you find and that's you got DOS on Linux.

Go over to www.gog.com and for $5.99 you can get Duke Nukem 3D... that's about £2.00 and it's DRM free.......

Gens - Sonic The Hedgehog

Posted 03-07-2010 at 07:24 AM by dsmyth

Sonic the Hedgehog on Linux... fandabbydosy!!

1. Download the source code for the Gens/GS emulator
(release 7 at time of writing)

http://info.sonicretro.org/Gens/GS#Stable_Release

2. Unzip the package and then do the "./configure && make && sudo make install" shuffle.

If the configuration step fails you might need to resolve some dependencies. There was one dependency missing on this machine; yum'd it...
