my computer keeps freezing

its just a shot in the dark but i'll ask anyway. i have a presario 2100 and i have ubunto. my problem is my comp keeps freezing. i dont know if its a hardware problem or if its just a bug that is fixable. does anyone else have or used to have this problem? if so is there a diagnostic or something i can run to find even just a clue as to whats wrong?

This guess will be a shot in the dark also, it could be a memory or memory related problem. Without more information it is just a guess. This could be better answered in the forums.
I would think when the power is disconnected the cpu is running at reduced speed. This is done in many laptops in order to save on battery consumption.Posted 09-26-2009 at 08:21 PM by Larry Webb
