Web design.

Posted 03-07-2009 at 03:43 PM by nenpa8lo

Recently I have started to learn webdesign - and amount of languages that I have to gather is scarry. HTML, XML, PHP, JS next mySQL queries and also would be nice to know AJAX and.... That is enough. Why this could not be simpler? One language, one standard and lets keep moving.

Well it is really not necessary to know all these languages to design webpages. The most important one to know is HTML. I can assure you that HTML is easy to learn in its fundamental form. There are a löot of good tutorials to be read on internet on HTML. Use Google.
PHP is important if you want to design interactive pages but PHP is not the first thing to learn.
PHP an MySQl are bound to each other. There are a lot of good opensourceprograms to be found and downloaded based on PHP and MySQL. You can use these to understand the principles and them gradualy learn them by reading the excellent tutorials also found on internet. Finaly JAVASCRIPTS. To be able to design them is not important. You can find thousands of them on internet. An other importaant language is PEARL. PEARL.scripts are also to be found
    on internet.
