Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I have decided to try my hand at writing short stories, and I'd love it if you could maybe offer some input, ie what you like, what you think should be improved. Anyway, enough yammering. Here's my story, part 1!
It was truly a sight to behold. An indigo sky, bejeweled with sparkling gems that twinkled lovingly as they danced across the sky. And under this masterpiece of the heavens, in the suburbs of Seattle, was a girl who was going through hell.
Her name was Selena....

Ahh, yes. The humble Bitcoin. The futuristic digital currency that could revolutionise monetary trade. The Bitcoin, which I shall here call the BTC out of laziness, has much potential. The trade model allows for the anonymisation of trade, which is why the Tor Network is full of shady characters who prefer to use BTCs instead of physical currency. But, although it has various advantages over the normal currencies preferred by political states, BTC is still a young monetary system. Conversion...

A tragic event has delayed posting here even further, but I am here! Also, my very good friend has launched a podcast on spreaker.com... it's called J101. You can find it here . I am proud to say that in episode 3, I was able to speak on the podcast, under the alias "Dr Bob". Take a look at it if you can. That aside, I'm gonna relate...

Hi all! So, it's been really quiet over in my neck of the woods, so I thought I might reflect on what silence means to me. Bit of a sparse connection, but I did warn you that I can be random in the blog description. Really random. I like nachos. That aside, for me, silence has a unique beauty to it, like that of a blank canvas. Like, at first glance, the canvas is just a canvas. But I look again, and I think of all of the beautiful things that could someday be painted on that canvas, the...

As much as I love a good book, the internet has become a very popular medium of transporting information. There are 'illions of blogs, personal sites, and vlogs that let people express themselves in ways that were rare novelties just 10 years ago. These methods are now commonplace, viewed as a standard component of the internet. And, quite a few Wiccans have taken to YouTube to spread info about their faith. Many of these YouTubers are excellent guides in helping new Wiccans to learn about Wicca...
