Linux Made Simple-A FREE Guide for Beginners

As well as using these LQ forums and blogs for valuable information, total newcomers to Linux may like to look at Linux Made Simple from the publishers of Linux Format magazine:
http://www.linuxformat.com/

Linux Made Simple is available FREE as a 143 page pdf:
https://ia801501.us.archive.org/12/i...le_2015_UK.pdf

Personally, I would much prefer on page 23 that they recommended creating 3 partitions, including a separate home partition, as here:

Apart from that minor quibble, Linux Made Simple is a useful basic introduction to those who wish to learn more about the world of Linux.

Thanks for this beachboy. I will be borrowing/stealing/using your blog post links on a Windows/Mac forum I moderate at.

If it helps convert 1 computer user from the dark side.
It will be worth the effort.
