fedora 6 booting problems

Posted 03-14-2007 at 08:38 PM by bcambo

I just installed fedora core 6 on a second hd (80 gb). I get an error message telling me "error loading operating system" with a blinking cursor. This happened just after I re-booted after I finished loading the OS. Did I make a mistake loading Linux onto only it's own hard drive? I have Windows XP with 109 Gb free on my first hard drive. I planned on having a dual-boot system and change out the hard drive and OS in my BIOS settings? Is this the best way to use two hard drives?
