I am very relaxed and happy right now therefore I decided to write
a new blog post.

I have realized the importance of positive mental attitude. I have
realized that I'll have to look after myself rather than being

Ingredients:
  • 4 full boiled shelled eggs.
  • 1/2 spoon Cumin seeds (AKA Zeera in Hindi).
  • 1 inch Cinnamon stick (AKA Dalchini in Hindi).
  • 5 Black Peppercorns seeds (AKA Kalimirch in Hindi).
  • 4 Cloves (AKA Laung in Hindi).

  • Q: What is an exception safe code?
    A: A code may throw an exception but at the same time if it:
    • Doesn't allow any memory (allocated by it) to be leaked.
    • Lets the program to remain in a well-defined state (no dangling pointers
      and all) so that execution can continue as intended.
    • Reports the error to the caller (when encountered).
    then it can be termed as an exception safe code.

    Of course, a code which won't be throwing any exception ever is an exception

  • Q: What is join with respect to Pthreads?
    A: Join is a functionality of Pthread library which allows the originating thread to wait for the completion of all its spawned thread's tasks.

    Without join the originating thread would exit as soon as it completes its chores, completely ignoring the states of its spawned threads. Due to this, even if any of the spawned threads is in middle of its chore, it'll simply get aborted.
