For starters

I am an IT professional. I manage a few Debian servers (two web servers [one of which is also an IM server] and a mysql server) and a couple of CEntOS "appliances" (Untangle and Fonality pbxtra [proprietary asterisk solution]).
I manage a number of windoze server2000/server2003/xp machines but will not mention those here.
I don't currently run any Linux desktops at work but have in the past and probably will again soon.
I usually have a Linux distro on an older machine at home to dabble with (currently a Pentium II running Debian with xfce for my kids to play with Debian Jr.).
I am far from a Linux expert. Because I work at a mid-sized business I am constantly pulled in many directions. I am hoping this weblog will be a good place for my notes and possibly double as a resource for others.
