Deepin (made in China!) is devoted to providing a beautiful, easy to use, safe and reliable system for global users. I came to like Deepin very much when I installed it in ExTiX 18.8. So I thought why not install Deepin also in ArchEX?

Study all installed packages in ArchEX 2019 Deepin/LXQt.

Tabbed xterm with suckless' "tabbed"

Posted 11-02-2018 at 10:40 PM by the dsc (linux-related notes)

Just found about it today.

With the program "tabbed" you can put xterm (maybe some other stuff, or similar terminals specifically, haven't examined it more than that) on a tabbed interface on Openbox (on Fluxbox anything can be tabbed with no additional tools...).

Just by issuing it as such:

tabbed -c xterm -into

I found useful to add this to .bashrc:

cmdline="$(tr -d '\0' </proc/$PPID/cmdline)"

SUSE was founded in like '92 in Germany, and grew out of a fork from SLS/Slackware, which were the first Linux distros to offer a nice installer for Linux. (a testimony to this heritage...
