NEWS ABOUT PuppEX Slack64 15.0 220625
This Puppy Linux derivative is built by me using Puppy Linux Woof-CE Builder. It is compatible with Slackware 15.0 and uses kernel 5.18.6-exton. This Puppy system works very well on UEFI and non-UEFI computers. You can build your own Puppy Linux Slackware 15 compatible system using PuppEX as “groundwork”. I don't know how useful this info is for the average Puppy Linux user is, but today I have compiled a new perfect (as I think) 3.17.0 kernel for my PuppEX installed (not "frugal") system. I call it 3.17.0-puppex.
The kernel can be used in all newer 32 bit Puppy Linux "fully" installed systems. I.e. not "frugal" systems.
A new version of EXTON Linux MultibootCD 6-OS is ready. Changes: New (latest) versions of Slax, Puppy Linux, 4MLinux, Tiny Core and SliTaz. I have replaced Parted Magic with GParted.
What's the point of running EXTON Linux MultibootCD 6-OS?
Anyone who is slightly interested in Linux and want to see how far the development of the most famous mini Linux systems have reached should try it. Naturally, also all who own older 32 bit computers that require a smaller system, which can...
