Happy Mothers' Day

Posted 05-09-2010 at 12:55 PM by Mr-Bisquit

I haven't seen my mother in a long time. She's an immigrant that still doesn't have her citizenship yet. God knows how long it will be before she won't be needing that ugly pink "green card" she has in her wallet. Even though she's not pure Spanish- and not Mexican Spanish- she did wish me Cinco de Mayo- and sent me an e-card.
Mental problems run in every generation of her family and a few of us- me, my brothers and sisters- have them also. I can't hate her for this, it wouldn't...

Endurance

Posted 05-08-2010 at 06:43 PM by Mr-Bisquit

I live on the Chesapeake Peninsula about 1 mile from the Chesapeake bay.
My goal is to make to the Atlantic Ocean at Ocean City, Maryland and back in a day.
I know that I can go sixty miles in five hours. Using this and the amount I tire plus water loss and energy requirements I probably will hit a "wall" at seventy-five to eighty miles. My current best travel rates are twenty miles in eighty minutes and twenty-five miles in one hundred minutes.

Bucket of worms

Posted 05-02-2010 at 09:08 PM by Mr-Bisquit

Michael, one of my brothers, is a few years younger than me and this concerns him when he was five.
Being extremely industrious for his age, Mike saw an opportunity in making money but didn't know how to go about doing it.
" Dig up some worms, " the old man told him, "and sell them for money,"
Michael took hold of this idea and decided to fill a five gallon bucket with worms and dirt. Taking his wares, he lugged it from house to house with no sales whatsoever....

Depression sucks, again

Posted 05-02-2010 at 01:53 AM by Mr-Bisquit

I'm taking celexa for it but it will still come on.
Take today, for example. Nothing wrong, really, just a little irritated from normal things. Now, for some reason, I just decided to give up on a project and went about asking to be banned.
It wasn't a gradual I-am-not-doing-something-right-so-I-can-not-take-it-anymore response it was from a hey-can-I-get-help-with-this to a sudden screw-you-screw-me-screw-everything attitude in less than a minute.
I'm writing...
