Just annotations of little "how to's", so I know I can find how to do something I've already done when I need to do it again, in case I don't remember anymore, which is not unlikely. Hopefully they can be useful to others, but I can't guarantee that it will work, or that it won't even make things worse.

Chrome (ium) apparently no longer has "bookmark all tabs" in the context menu, only via shortcut keys

The shortcut being Shift+Control+D. I hope they don't decide we no longer need that as well.

Oops. It still has on the context menu, but only if you right click on the empty space, without any tab.

Chrome/ium userstyle that creates larger buttons for scrolling up and down.

I mostly use the scrollbar as "buttons," clicking below or above the handler, rather than grabbing the handler itself. So when I've scrolled down quite a bit, I'll often mistakenly click above the handler when I really wanted to scroll down. That's kind of possibly solved if those barely useful up and down buttons were large enough to be more useful than pressing page up, down, or arrow keys instead. So this usercss does that:

::-webkit-scrollbar {
  width: 12px;

Disable chromium/chrome printing for a given profile

Posted 12-02-2018 at 06:43 PM by the dsc (linux-related notes)

Are you tired of selecting text, right-clicking to search the term, and accidentally releasing the button on "print"? Worry no more!

Despite of what a developer said, it can be done by manually editing the "Preferences" json file. For linux at least.

This way: Open the profile folder, find the JSON file Preferences, find "printing" field (browser->extensions->printing), then add , "enabled": false into it.
