ExTiX 19.5, Build 190508, with LXQt 0.14.1, Kodi 19 “Matrix”, Refracta Snapshot, Nvidia 418.74 and kernel 5.1.0-exton

Softpedia 190513: ExTiX 19.5 "The Ultimate Linux System" officially released with Linux kernel 5.1

"A new version of the ExTiX "The Ultimate Linux System" GNU/Linux distribution from developer Arne Exton has been released with the latest Linux 5.1 kernel series and LXQt 0.14.1 desktop environment.

Based on the recently released Ubuntu 19.04 (Disco Dingo) operating system, ExTiX 19.5 is now available featuring the lightweight LXQt desktop environment by default instead of GNOME, the latest and most advanced Linux 5.1 kernel series, and the upcoming Kodi 19 "Matrix" media center with the Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Plex add-ons pre-installed.

The ExTiX 19.5 release also ships with Refracta Installer as default graphical installer instead of Ubuntu's Ubiquity live installer, with built-in support for UEFI-enabled computers, the latest Nvidia 418.74 graphics drivers, as well as the Refracta Snapshot utility, which lets you create your own live and installable system based on ExTiX 19.5 and Ubuntu 19.04."

    PNF Suite Released

I told you though, that this was NOT the same as C or C++. That's one difference in the languages...

    PNF Suite Released

I guess it's too hard for now, without opening a thread, to add C-Like escape sequences to the STRINGV. However, after further testing, IT DOES NOT NEED IT. Why? The ASM command accepts a string_expression, which can be $"{STRINGV}". The $ operator is the string operator, which will add quotes to it which will NOT be stripped. So, in the example subroutine, all you have to do is use that synatax and it will come out to work! YES!!!!

    PNF Suite Released

It seems as if every time I sit to program in my language, I find a new bug. Yes, this is well tested. But apparently it's not bug free. The next bug to fix is I need escape sequences to work inside string values in PNFHA. Otherwise it's not always possible to write in PNFASM from it.

I found this while implementing the patch_0 subroutine in PNFHA.

    PNF Suite Released

I just got my final version with all the bugfixes put out. (Not final ever, just can go at a slower pace now). There are now no "known" bugs in the program. Everything works as it is supposed to as far as I can tell.

The last 2 instructions were PATCH (to fix the bug dynamically, since I needed backwards compatibility now), and NATIVE, for running native subroutines.

Because of the last instruction, now we can do ANYTHING an App can do on the OS. Note that the LINUX version is behind a little. Why? My first step is to make it work on Windows, my next, on Linux. Why? Just because I prefer Windows and G++ as a development environment for now.

P.P.S. - Don't worry. For now you can always write PNFASM from PNFHA.

After this minor update I will do, it will finally have all known bugs fixed and have a way to do everything your OS can do with an App.

    Luego seguimos hablando.

ExTiX Deepin 19.4 live based on Deepin 15.9.2 BETA (latest) with Skype, Spotify, Refracta Snapshot and kernel 5.0.7 (latest) :: Build 190416

Softpedia 190424: ExTiX 19.4 "The Ultimate Linux System" is based on Deepin 15.9.3 and Linux 5.0

"GNU/Linux developer Arne Exton released a new version of his ExTiX GNU/Linux distribution based on the Deepin Linux operating system made by Deepin Technology.

The biggest news about the ExTiX Deepin 19.4 release is that it's the first GNU/Linux distribution to be based on the upcoming Deepin Linux 15.9.3 release, which is currently in beta stages of development and has not yet been officially released by Deepin Technology.

Additionally, ExTiX Deepin 19.4 comes with the Linux 5.0.8 kernel for the best possible hardware support, making ExTiX worthy for its "The Ultimate Linux System" nickname. Latest Refracta Snapshot is included as well by default for those who want to make their own ExTiX Deepin 19.4 live systems, along with Spotify and Skype apps."
