NEWS about ArchEX 200914
A new version of ArchEX is ready! In this new version, which I call ArchEX 2020, I have added the Deepin 20 BETA (latest) Desktop environment. Deepin (made in China!) is devoted to providing a beautiful, easy to use, safe and reliable system for global users. I came to like Deepin very much when I installed it in ExTiX 20.5 . So I thought why not install Deepin also in ArchEX?

WHAT IS ArchEX?
ArchEX 64 bit is a new (200914) Linux live DVD based on Arch Linux. Arch motto is KISS ("Keep It Simple Stupid"). ArchEX uses kernel 5.8.8-arch1-1, Deepin 20 BETA and LXQt 0.15.0 Desktop environments. About LXQt 0.15.0: LXQt is a lightweight Qt desktop environment. It will not get in your way. It will not hang or slow down your system. It is focused on being a classic desktop with a modern look and feel.

ArchEX is a live Linux distribution for everyone who wants to use Arch Linux but doesn’t want to go to all the trouble of installing Arch Linux, which in 2020 is still a thing. It follows the same motto as Arch Linux, “Keep It Simple Stupid.”

The new ArchEX Linux release comes with the Deepin Desktop Environment or DDE, which everyone knows it’s an eye candy Linux desktop environment, from the Deepin 20 Linux distribution. Deepin Desktop 15.11 is included in this release.

Many other distributions are using the Deepin Desktop, and you can even install it yourself from your distro’s repositories if you want to see what the fuss is all about. But what sets ArchEX apart is that is ships with a dual-desktop setup consisting of Deepin Desktop and the latest LXQt 0.15.0 desktop environment.

Please note the the correct Deepin version in ArchEX is 20 BETA. Not 15.11.
