Bedrock Saves The Day

I just rebooted after an upgrade and... some combination the Arch kernel & init ram disk put me into a cold boot loop. Had I not been in Bedrock, panic would have ensued, since I could not even boot, let alone try to figure out the cause of the problem. My boot loader was set with extra menu options to boot Bedrock with a kernel & init ram disk from another stratum. I did so. Whew, running OK.

Yay for Bedrock!

Has anyone else got any Bedrock Saves The Day stories?

Back in October, I received a support request from someone who normally uses Fedora's init. Something about his Fedora stratum broke - not exactly sure what happened - but he was able to boot into Arch's init that, thanks to Bedrock, he had on hand. From there, he could continue to access his stuff and be productive until we fixed his Fedora stratum.
