Printer Brother DCP-167C

Hiya. I am trying to install my printer and I got it working on Ubuntu but the bash script doesn't work on Arch. I have a choice of .deb or rpm.

Which option is better and do I need any other dependencies?

Many thanks for reading and thank you, in advance, for your help.

I'm not an Arch user, but the following may be helpful to you...

An example (for DCP-7065DN model) of how to take RPM files, undertake the necessary editing, and install the drivers

A PKGBUILD for the DCP-167C already exists it would seem
