I can see that now! Im just used to gnome and like the look and feel. I've thought switching but do not know which i should switch too ya know? Ill just stick with what i am used too.

No worry about that. I'm not saying that Gnome is evil or is a bad thing, I only said that I don't like a particular approach.
Anyway, your problem is solved and that's the very important point!
