new install of arch root prblem

Hi I just installed my first arch linux it is logging in as root and I cant seem to change it the system is working ok.my user name doesnt want to work I use grumpy any ideas folks I uploaded a screenshot with terminal loaded as root

What was the output of the command:
useradd -m -g users -G wheel,storage,power -s /bin/bash <username> |

bash: syntax error near unexpected token `newline' ok heres a screendhot of visudo but i cant change anything maybe arch doesnt like my keyboard |

well for your info mr ondoho zsh wasnt installed and was causing the problem with root
zsh wasnt installed with the new install of arch,I couldnt sudo and root was always loaded the only way I could login to new install was typing root at the login prompt. now I am still getting over brain surgery I couldnt type or use my computer fot 7 months I forgot a lot of things I learnt from when I started using mandrake in 1995 so thanks to all the good people for the help. |
