LGLive pxe boot nfs hooks (Arch remix)

I have arch 2013.05.01 pxe booting (both x86 and x86_64, booting to root on nfs), and I'm attempting to get lglive (an arch "remix") to pxe boot as well.

Unfortunately, pxebooting lglive fails to get past archiso_pxe_nbd hook (/dev/nbd0 is found but doesn't contain a filesystem). Arch doesn't have this issue (i.e. it blows past nbd and runs archiso_pxe_nfs as expected).

The following is the relevant snippet from my pxelinux.cfg/

LABEL arch32
    MENU label ^ArchLinux 2013.05.01 (x86)
    KERNEL images/arch/arch/boot/i686/vmlinuz
    APPEND initrd=images/arch/arch/boot/i686/archiso.img archisobasedir=arch archiso_nfs_srv= ip=:::::eth0:dhcp -

LABEL arch64
    MENU label ^ArchLinux 2013.05.01 (x86_64)
    KERNEL images/arch/arch/boot/x86_64/vmlinuz
    APPEND initrd=images/arch/arch/boot/x86_64/archiso.img archisobasedir=arch archiso_nfs_srv= ip=:::::eth0:dhcp -

LABEL lglive
    MENU label ^Linux Gamer Live DVD
    KERNEL images/lglive-0.9.7/lglive/boot/i686/vmlinuz26
    APPEND initrd=images/lglive-0.9.7/lglive/boot/i686/lglive.img archisobasedir=lglive archiso_nfs_srv= ip=:::::eth0:dhcp -
I've toyed around with APPEND disablehooks=archiso_pxe_nbd (which doesn't seem to matter, since archiso_pxe_common doesn't seem to be available anyways).

Is it safe to assume that lglive doesn't have the required hooks compiled in, and to get this working I'd have to rebuild the boot kernel and/or iso image?
