How to select options in Arch installation?!?

Hello again LQ,

I decided to try Arch to build LFS and learn more about the command line in the process of getting Arch itself up and running. But I simply cannot figure out how to choose an select something in the menu! For example, when selecting sources, I navigate to a source and press enter, but this takes me back to the main menu, not allowing more than one choice. Then when I go back to selecting sources to see if it has the little star next to it (which does mean it has been selected, right?), the box is still blank.
