Hi, I noticed there had not been any activity in this thread for over a month, so I thought to add a post.

I'm not entirely new to Linux, but definitely very much a newbie. Here's is a link to my thread looking for answers and opinions,

I looked in here just to check activity. I have decided to begin my Linux education with Slackware, and then try out Arch, as it seems to share much of the Slackware ideals, which I like.

- Please do not use fora for driving traffic to a question you posted already.
- Please do not use distro subfora for posts that don't relate to the distro.
