Has anyone got UEFI working?

I'm trying to setup my new pc with UEFI/GPT but have been going mad trying to get it to work. All I get is "GRUB_" on start up.

I managed to get an archboot USB to boot UEFI so I can get a grub2 menu but it won't boot my os (Root device /dev/sdb3 not found).

Anyone got it working before? My intention is to get UEFI working with the 3.0 kernel so my Sandy Bridge works.

Been there done that. Sorry I probably should have mentioned my close relationship with ArchWiki. Love that place. That and I've Googled everything I could think of.
