I have gone through the steps mentioned in the wiki

but when giving the password, the message "unable to load gnome session" message shows.

What is the problem?

Or which steps I have mised to follow?

After installing all the programs, I have changed the default runlevel to 5. Also tried to
put the dbus and gdm in the daemons portion.

reread the arch wiki
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Main_Page
from step 1
installing the text only set up
through installing and setting up a gui
through getting gnome to run

and reread the
"Official_Arch_Linux_Install_Guide"
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php..._Install_Guide
"Beginners_Guide"
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beginners%27_Guide

and go through the table of contents
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Table_of_Contents

wright down ( yes on paper )
the step by step
a term paper out line -- if you will

you missed something .

No use repeated everything the message 'failed to load gnome session'

No time to play with further as I have to install the same on a small institution. As the system is a celeron, I choose arch for better performance.

Planned to install any other heavy distro.
