Does anyone have flashplugin 11.1.102.63 ?

Hi. Tried to search it with no luck. http://schlunix.org/ 's archive is down. Does anyone still have it in cache or something?

TommyC7 07-27-2012 12:26 AM

You can download it directly from adobe:

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get....x86_64.tar.gz

Just have to change the version number in the link, that's all. :)

Mr. Alex 07-27-2012 12:54 AM

Thanks but the other version is for i386 (not i686) and I tried to install it after making a package. It didn't work with Firefox.

TommyC7 07-27-2012 01:11 AM

Ok, so just change the architecture part in the download link.

Mr. Alex 07-27-2012 03:11 AM

Yeah. I got it from your first reply.
11.1.102.63/install_flash_player_11_linux.i686.tar.gz , right? Have you tried this link?

TommyC7 07-27-2012 01:10 PM

According to www.adobe.com, it's i386.

Mr. Alex 07-28-2012 01:57 AM

I need i686. If anyone has arch package please let me know.

AFAIK thats correct, and i386 packages will work on i686.

Why do you want an obsoleted version of flash anyway Mr. Alex?

Mr. Alex 07-28-2012 03:10 AM

Because 11.2 lags horribly and doesn't let me watch a video in a bigger size. It simply hangs up the browser when unwinding a video. I remember 11.1 worked OK.

I have
/var/cache/pacman/pkg/flashplugin-11.1.102.55-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
/var/cache/pacman/pkg/flashplugin-11.1.102.62-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
/var/cache/pacman/pkg/flashplugin-11.1.102.63-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

Do you have the old one in your cache?

Mr. Alex 08-04-2012 11:39 AM

If I had I wouldn't ask. Yours are not for my system.

Roken 09-04-2012 02:46 PM

@teckk

I am also hunting for an 11.1 version of flash. Any chance you could get flashplugin-11.1.102.63-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz to me? If so, let me know and I'll PM my email.

TIA.

[EDIT] Ignore me - found it :)

Try http://arm.konnichi.com/search/

The Arch Rollback Machine goes back several years, you'll even find flashplugin 10.x there.

Mr. Alex 09-18-2012 10:28 AM

Thanks. A lot of old ones!

SilentSam 09-21-2012 03:51 PM

The ARM saved me several times in the past years... Kudos to Lone Wolf for reminding me of it
