Mmmm.sucks as archiso-live can't do x86_64?!

Well, still trying to compile x86_64 kernel from 2.6.33.3-qx4 sources
with squashfs 3.4
thats how nFluxOS arch x86 is made....

you want kernel sources and my Linux-Live-Scripts from nFluxOS arch edition?

Ok
here's kernel-live.tar.gz
http://multidistro.com/distros/arch/kernel-live.tar.gz
it contains

qx-kernelsources-full-2.6.33.3-noarch-4qx.txz
linux-live-6.3.0-nflux.tar.gz
config-2.6.33.3-arch (x86)
config-2.6.33.3-qx64 (x86_64)

the default config is in the .txz
but I made LLS 6.3.0 so aufs and squashfs as[*] instead of [M]
in LLS 6.3.0 initrd_create script
so just use either config if need be...
put the linux live folder in /root is best place
and check out .build and config in LLS 6.3.0 folder

so, are you trying to make livecd of x86 or x86_64?
see here too
http://www.slax.org/forum.php?action...parentID=59545

the kernel 2.6.33.3 wont work with that though
as you need squashfs 4.0+...

OK
UPDATE:

Alexvader; I found kernel26-zen 2.6.34

Code:
packer -S kernel26-zen
or just get patch from here
http://zen-kernel.org/2.6.34-zen1-back-in-the-saddle

then, you need the linux live for x86_64 or x86 with squashfs 4.0+
from Ritchie at Slax forum
http://www.slax.org/forum.php?action...parentID=59545

not sure if it works yet but I am compiling kernel now....

Hi Linus72

I did not try larch ye, although I have built this...

There's a warning that Larch may b0|2k the system... so... I am building packages to install in a definitive system ( I am working with Arch in an USB HDD ) before i tinker with Larch...

Yesterday I built Salome Packages from AUR... man, one ot these, ( Salome-med ) took almost two hours to build.

As soon as I build all my tools ( engineering simulation apps ), which shouldn't take much longer now, and burn a DVD with "my repo", i will try Larch, prior to installing Arch proper in a lappy without having to go through the hassle of building all these apps again...

I was a bit hesitating about installing and deploying Arch in a mobo without having all my work packages ready... but most of them have been built, so... ArchLinux, here I go...

Can Larch b0|2k a working system...? this is why i was trying the ArchIso approach...

BRGDS

Alex
