[SOLVED] Arch Linux Installation: 'Refreshing package database'

Hi LQ,

This time I have a legit question about installing Arch. I downloaded the core CD, but I also need the multilibs, community and extra. So I checked these for download, and now I've gotten to 'select packages'. It has been showing the message 'refreshing package database' for about half an hour. Should I let it sit there or is there something wrong?

P.S. This is a laptop plugged into ethernet, and the green light and orange flashing light for 'working' are both on. And yes, I do have 2011/08/19.

Well, I've decided to skip the non-core packages for now, so is there a way to add the other repos (namely community-, extra-, and multilibs-remote) later?

I figured it out. I can only use local packages currently because I need to configure Internet.
