Arch having conflicts with Unity

I have Arch Linux on Virtualbox to get used to it so I can switch comfortably. Anyway, I chose Unity as the desktop environment. It had a few dependency errors, but it installed after 3 failed attempts. So I start up the xorg server to run Unity, and it loads up, but the wallpaper is missing, the settings are missing, and the sidebar dock is red instead of blue. I want to know what's happening so I can fix it. Any suggestions?
