application style only affects current windows in plasma

I set application style to breeze. But then when I open another application, even like Dolphin or Kinfocenter, it uses some dark application style. I work around this by setting --style=Breeze in the .desktop icon in the menu, but I want a global solution and not all apps have the --style setting.

Also, if I unset environmental value QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE and export QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct it works fine but only if I open the applications with command line.

How would I set this for "global" use?

Is it in the repo, otherwise it changed to just (Qt5 Configuration Utility) qt5ct?

I do have qt5ct installed.

When I open qt5ct (from menu) I get a message "the application is not configured correctly" with 'information' and 'hide' buttons. When I click 'information' I get this message:

Code:
Please remove the QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE environment variable (current value: gtk2).

The QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME environment variable is not set correctly (current value: KDE, required value: qt5ct).
Ok, I just did export QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct, and it seems to work, from commandline, but it says it's not configured correctly and info says:

Code:
The QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME environment variable is not set correctly (current value: KDE, required value: qt5ct).
Doesn't KDE have an environmental values settings somewhere?

Ok, I altered the two variables in /etc/environment and now the problem has been solved.
