after updating tot he new kernel 2.6.30 my machine boots into ramfs$


i think its becaue my /lib/modules/ or whatver is only kernel 2.6.29 and the error on bootup is the root device on my drive is not being created and such. any ideas?

Did you manually compile your kernel? If so, make sure to
Code:
make modules_install
