Is there a way to access the arch wiki installation guides from within the arch installer? During the install all I found was a general howto install.txt.
I know I can install a text browser, which I eventually installed lynx. I was wondering if there was a way without doing so. The reason I'm asking is during the install I was having trouble getting the wired network up and running. For whatever reason arch wants to rename eth0 to eno1 and I was needing access to more detailed instructions for setting up the network during the install, besides the fact I was typing one of the commands wrong(LOL).
okay, thanks anyways. I may be wrong(which is usually the case) or I may be thinking of gentoo, but it seems like the last time I installed arch (been a few years) that there was a more detailed instruction manual on the install disk/iso.
Thanks, that was what I was looking for, just wanted to know for future reference. I must have been seeing double last night. I had typed dhcp instead of dhcpcd LOL during setup last night and didn't catch it till this morning. The install.txt doesn't give enough info if a real problem arises besides stupidity. Imagine what a good night of rest will do for you.
