Scrollbar behavior in MX Linux

When I click at the bottom of a scrollbar, the cursor goes all the way down. How can I make it going down one page at a time?

this is a much lamented new "feature" of GTK3.
to my knowledge, it cannot be changed.

Thank you very much for your kind help. I hope this issue will be solved in the near future: having to use the right button is not that convenient...

I think you misunderstood me.
The new behaviour was introduced by the developers on purpose; apparently they think it's better that way.

I see... That's right, everyone has personal preferences and tastes... I'd just like that it could be a customizable feature.
