MX Snapshot ISO Question

If I use MX Snapshot to create an ISO, is it merely a bootable live system, or can it serve to reinstall the entire system in the state it is in when created? I am wanting to create a RAID 0 array, and this sounds like the simplest way to start. I welcome other recommendations for creating the array.
