MX Linux 19.1-64bit and 32bit - Screenshot tool w/o dialog wanted!
I just tried MX Linux, and I actually like it a lot, but I'm desperately trying to find a Screenshot tool without any dialog.
I mean, I want to be able to set up a keyboard shortcut like Print or similar and a target folder to save the screenshot file and when I hit the shortcut, the screenshot should be saved automatically in the target folder without any popup, window, message,... whatsoever.
Could anybody of you by any chance recommend such a tool, please?
That tool should produce files called something like 'screenshot-[date-time].jpg' (or ....png)
Input would be ok, if it is required prior to perform several screenshots at once.
So, for example, if you hit the shortcut 10 times in a short period of time,
the resulting 10 files should be saved automatically into a predefined folder,
without having to set them up one by one.
EDIT:
Meanwhile, I installed mate-screenshot, because that one gets at least a bit closer to what I'm after.
But still there's this annoying window, which has to be closed manually by pushing the ENTER key,
which makes it impossible to quickly make several screenshots at once.
madmax - you destroy the bodhi forums with your many questions due to your breaking your system and then do not foloow people's suggestions. i hate to say it but do not bring your trash here to the antix/mxfoums.
