How to install MX Linux onto usb
I have debian OS and want to install MX Linux onto USB with persistence.
I used a website tutorial and installed the MX Linux .iso and then burned it onto the USB: Code:
wget https://sourceforge.net/projects/mx-linux/files/Final/Xfce/MX-21_x64.iso On booting the USB - I have MX Linux 'demo'. I think this is the MX Linux installer. Do I now open the 'live-usb maker' app to install MX Linux onto a separate flash drive? |
I like Ventoy as an alternative. It also allows multiple ISOs to be installed to USB sticks.
Begin where it says, "For Linux - GUI mode" Just a simpler suggestion, IMO. How to unzip a tar.gz file |

Oh yes, I found that quirk of MX irritating compared to antiX. Haven't used in a while. Another case of RTFM

mkusb is another option https://help.ubuntu.com/community/mk...tall-to-debian
