Fresh Install of Mx-18_64 blue tooth does not detect devices

I am a newbie and have done a fresh Install of Mx-18_64 on my laptop. Everything is fine except for the blue tooth. I can see the blue tooth icon and the visibility setting is also set to "always visible" but it is not able to detect any devices.

I tried to posting this question on the Mx linux forum but when i tried registering i found out that my ip has been blocked by the forum because someone has been sending spam through the same ip so i was not able to register. I like MX and would appreciate if someone can help me with my blue tooth.

info about my system.
