[SOLVED] Conky: can it be hidden permanently

In MENU > Desktop, Conky can be toggled to off, but I want it be hidden permanently.
For this I edited "desktop-session.conf" ~~ with LOAD_CONKY="true"
But without any success.
So what can I do to get rid of conky?
My OS is Antix 1.9.3 with rox-icewm

You have edited the correct file (assuming it is the one in /home/yourusername/.desktop-session), but it should be:

LOAD_CONKY="false"

You might need to logout/login to see the change.

but it says that conky is not installed. So what can I do else?

I could remove conky
