Question Cannot run antiX or MX in Virtual Box environment

Hi all,

downloaded both the latest antiX and MX Linux iso files for a i386 system. But i first want them to run in a Virtual Box environment for testing/reviewing purposes. But when i create a new VB machine for both distros', they do not boot up in VB. I do see the boot screen where you have to select the proper option (see screenshot). After that nothing happens.

Anyone familiar with this issue and can provide me with a solution?
Many thanks!

In the posted picture it appears you typed in a * in the options box which should not be there.

Did you press the enter key to start the boot process? If so what happened?

Did you verify the download was successful by comparing the mdm5sums?
