Cool Color Depth, True Color, How to

Hi Guys

Can't figure out how to buck my color depth up to true color. I've got an NVidia GeForce 5700 which seems to have been detected OK, but the color depth is still stuck down in high color.

Thanky muchly

what constitutes "true color"? .....

the highest color depth X can do is 24-bit. edit /etc/X11/*conf .. where * is either XF86 or xorg (depending on your window system), or run the appropriate config command (it should have came with that cards drivers, since its binary only, ill leave the specifics of how to config that card to someone else.

Thanks SciYro

That worked perfect the first try. I use a lot of jpg's and they kind of s*ck in 16bit.
